Cova Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic, employee-focused AI & Engineering team. This individual will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge training programs focused on AI and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.

As an AI Training SME, you will be responsible for equipping professionals across a range of industries and business sectors with the knowledge and skills needed to understand, apply, and innovate with AI tools and methodologies. You will contribute to the creation of tailored learning experiences—from foundational concepts to advanced implementations—ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices and emerging trends.

Citizenship: Due to the clearance requirement, all candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Place of Performance: Ft. Meade, MD.
Pay Rate: $145K - $195K +​

Responsibilities:

• Content Development and Curriculum Enhancement: Involved in developing, refining, and delivering educational content focused on AI and related technologies.

• Facilitating and delivering training sessions for professionals at various levels and industries, covering topics such as machine learning, data science, and generative AI.

• Engage with clients to discuss industry insights and tailor training solutions to their specific needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in AI/ML Technologies: A deep understanding of various AI and Machine Learning (ML) techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Generative AI (GenAI): Familiarity with foundation models, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and the creation of GenAI applications.

• Data Skills: Strong data analysis skills, including data preparation, exploratory data analysis, and the use of relevant libraries like NumPy and Pandas.

• Communication & Training Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to effectively translate complex concepts into accessible learning experiences.

• Passion for Learning: A strong desire to share knowledge and help others develop their skills in AI.
